This was a remodel, not a fresh start. The lot already had the view. Our job was to build a backyard worthy of it.
The pool sits right at the edge of the deck. Its dark finish makes the water read like a sheet of glass against the sky.
A covered lounge with a fireplace gives the family a spot to sit when the Texas sun is high or the night turns cool.
Clean stone, black steel, and glass tie the pool back to the house. Old and new now feel like one design.
From above you can see how the pieces fit. The pool, the lawn, and the deck all line up with the view.
We planned every line in 3D before the remodel began, so the owners knew exactly how it would feel by the water.
