- Suspended slab on piers, used to reach bedrock on the bank of Shoal Creek
- Rammed earth — an 1800s technology applied
- SIPS roofing panels, erected by hand on a heavily wooded lot
- 1 ton boulders installed as inner and outer walls
- long glass gallery connects the 3 main volumes
- the 4th Rammed Earth volume office is part of the entry foyer
- the separation of each volume creates interior courtyards
